Lazos de Fuego, 2026
Oil on canvas, 30 × 50 cm
Signed and dated (lower left)
A work of great dynamism and spectacular visual force. Two cowboys gallop at full speed against a sky burned with intense golden and orange tones, spinning their lariats in the air. The composition captures the movement and energy of the West with mastery, turning the scene into an authentic homage to cowboy tradition and the romance of the American landscape.
José Cabrera demonstrates here an excellent handling of crepuscular light and the contrast between the dark silhouettes of the riders and the incandescent sky. The loose and expressive brushwork conveys the horses’ speed and the moment’s tension, while the warm palette envelops the whole scene in an epic and cinematic atmosphere.
This piece is part of the artist’s western series, where he has managed to consolidate a personal style that combines narrative realism with great emotional and decorative impact. “Lazos de Fuego” is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and ambitious works of this line, ideal for collectors of equestrian art, contemporary western or for those seeking a large-format piece with imposing presence.
Perfect for living rooms, offices or spaces that require character, movement and light.
