Two-volume illustrated edition of Los Dioses Grecia y Roma by Varios, published by Biblioteca ilustrada de Espasa y compañía, in Spanish with original language status, circa 1880, measuring 35 × 26 cm, containing 818 pages in good condition.

Barcelona, Espasa y cia 1880-1881. Bound in half-leather, rubbed covers, the first volume with a metal escutcheon, same as the covers' tips, which are also metal. "History of the Gods, Demigods and Heroes of classical paganism, of their dogmas, mysteries, feasts and ceremonies, with the tale of heroic-mythological traditions, and critical and artistic observations." 712+895 pages respectively with moisture stains. Work adorned with luxurious chromolithographs taken from copies of the best paintings, old and modern, on mythological subjects that exist in the Museums of Madrid, Rome, Paris, Florence, Munich, etc., and more than 600 engravings, followed by appendices with news related to the religion and the cult practiced by various peoples, such as the Iberians, Celts, Germans, Egyptians, Phoenicians, Chinese, Indians, Americans, etc. There is a plate with a small hole and the other two pages also with a small hole. 35x26 cm. They have minor defects: moisture stains and the printing date censored with ink.
