B. Morah, an original acrylic on cotton canvas titled Bosque Ingrávido 128 XL, a blue, green, yellow and orange surreal landscape measuring 100 cm by 75 cm, hand-signed on the back and created in 2026 as an original post-2020 edition, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 128 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the mundane becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. Trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we remove weight from nature? Can inertia reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravid Forest” in itself evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
