Very characteristic and rare piece of Mid-Century Modern studio pottery, produced by the renowned German manufacturer Dümler & Breiden.
This striking jug vase (also known as Botijo-shape) stands on three organically shaped legs and features a unique, robust handle that runs over the top, flanked by two spouts.
The vase is executed in the iconic Fat Lava style. The glaze has a rough, crater-like texture in a contrasting composition of deep brown, foamy white, vibrant orange and golden accents.
