In this work, pleasure and excess coexist in an unstable balance. The close framing eliminates any external context, concentrating all attention on a simple gesture that becomes a symbol of desire, consumption, and compulsion. The candy, an object associated with innocence and immediate satisfaction, here appears charged with ambiguous sensuality, while the blue lips intensify the sense of artificiality and attraction.
The marks on the skin introduce a narrative of vulnerability and conflict, suggesting that what seduces can also leave a trace. Between the sweet and the dangerous, the familiar and the provocative, the work questions the contemporary relationship with the impulses that attract and dominate us.
Vice explores the fine line between pleasure and dependency, turning a private moment into a reflection on the mechanisms of temptation and the quiet force of desires that shape human behavior.
