Explosion is a series that explores the moment when identity fragments and expands beyond its own limits. The human figure remains present, but ceases to be the dominant element of the composition, being absorbed by a sequence of gestures, marks, colors and layers that seem to emerge from a continuous flow of energy and emotion.
The halos suspended above the figures introduce a symbolic dimension, contrasting with the raw and spontaneous visual language that runs across the entire surface. The face appears partially hidden, interrupted and reconstructed, as if it were in constant transformation. Between abstraction and representation, the series questions how personality is shaped by experiences, internal conflicts and the incessant noise of the contemporary world.
The chromatic intensity and the overlap of elements create a sense of permanent movement, evoking an explosion not of destruction, but of creation. Each mark, each gesture and each layer become traces of a process of liberation, where chaos ceases to be an obstacle and becomes a generating force.
In Explosion, energy becomes language. Disorder turns into expression. And fragmentation reveals itself as a possibility of reinvention, where new forms, new identities and new narratives emerge from the initial impact.
