Vintage Bitossi Rimini Blue Pitcher – Aldo Londi – Italy – Model 995

A beautiful icon of Mid-Century Modern design. This ceramic pitcher is an original piece from the famous “Rimini Blue” collection, designed by the influential art director Aldo Londi for Bitossi Ceramiche (Italy, circa the 1960s).

The pitcher is finished in the distinctive deep blue and turquoise glazes that evoke the Mediterranean Sea. The piece is fully decorated all around with hand-stamped geometric motifs that make this series so beloved by collectors worldwide.

Brand: On the underside hand-signed with “Italy” and model number 995.

Condition: In very nice vintage condition. The glaze’s gloss has been beautifully preserved.
