The artworks are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained recognition in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the top ten sculptors under 30 according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, displayed at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, encouraged by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at Galerie Isy Brachot in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl especially enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art Gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme "In God We Trust" at Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works to the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Spa Pavilion on Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy are: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on Nasdaq screen of the artwork “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall “One Dollar,” entirely bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at Atrium Gallery in Marbella, solo show with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work comprises a Maserati covered with a white plastic sheet and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014: - Maserati presents in world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by the artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France hosted a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club of France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Cryptogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the town’s entrance.
- For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
