Refined rectangular box in silver worked in repoussé and chasing, characterized by a rich decorative display of oriental taste consisting of floral motifs, vegetal scrolls, and finely executed geometric frames.

The domed lid features a central symmetrical decoration surrounded by a continuous ornamental band, while the sides are embellished with repeated vegetal friezes that give the whole a notable decorative effect.

The box is made entirely of silver verified by chemical testing. No hallmarks or identifying marks are visible.

In terms of style and execution, the piece appears attributable to Oriental production, probably from the Indian region, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
