Description from the seller

Up for auction today is a Vintage Eric Lederer Silver Flute, Made in Schöneck, Germany. Erich Lederer was a master German woodwind maker from the historic instrument-making town. Operating during the mid-20th century, he belonged to the third generation of the legendary Lederer Flute Family, a dynasty with over 150 years of continuous instrument-making history. Erich Lederer flutes were predominantly crafted in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. Because he operated in the Vogtland region (near Markneukirchen), his work shares historical and structural similarities with famous contemporary German builders like Hans Reiner and Philip Hammig. Erich Lederer instruments are viewed as excellent vintage German classics due to their beautiful, warm, and highly focused sound.

Condition: This flute is in great condition for its age, remarkably preserved with the original box and case. The flute will need a repad to be in prime playing condition. Overall, this is a wonderful flute for sure that would make a great addition for a professional and/or collector, so don't miss out!

Included: case

Shipment: The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped by Deutsche Post (DHL) with tracking.

This item is being sold as-is as pictured, so please take a look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
