Michiel Folkers (1982) presents Bear 001, a 2025 hand-pulled screen print in a limited edition of 25 on 340 g acid-free handmade paper, signed and numbered with a blind stamp, in pink and white.
Description from the seller
This silkscreen is made with a second-hand stuffed bear and 2 colors of ink (Flamingo pink on calm grey). The original bear was dipped in India ink and printed in its entirety on paper. From this original bear work, a silkscreen was produced in an edition of 25 bears.
Technique: Hand-pulled silkscreen on 340 grams (acid-free) handmade paper
Includes: Artist Certificate of Authenticity
Worldwide shipping / ships within 48 hours in a tube. The work is shipped unframed.

Michiel Folkers a.k.a. Gieler (1982) began graffiti in Amsterdam in the late 1990s. Years later he swapped the street walls for canvas in his studio. In much of his work the feeling of the streets is still clearly visible or perceptible. At the moment his work is traveling the world and he exhibits in galleries from Zurich to New York. Especially in America his work has become popular in recent years and he hangs in the homes of several 'famous people'.
