Description from the seller
Those who recognize themselves
Description
Some encounters escape words. Two silhouettes move closer until they form a single presence. Nothing is explained. Nothing is imposed. The observer becomes the author of the story.
In this work, Amandyne Steropês explores the mysterious instant when two beings recognize each other. Whether it is love, friendship, kinship, or an even deeper connection, the emotion remains universal.
Red projections traverse the composition like a heartbeat. Touches of gold illuminate the scene while black contrasts anchor the bodies in a tension that is both fragile and powerful.
A rare, intimate, and contemporary work, created for the Pride collection, celebrating human bonds in all their diversity.
Made on high-quality watercolor paper, presented without a mat, it offers the collector the freedom to elevate it according to their tastes: a frame that can easily bring the whole to an elegant size of about 40 × 40 cm, ideal for indoor display.
