Andrea Krauß counts among the prominent figures of contemporary German painting. The recipient of the AOK Nordost Art Prize (Berlin/Brandenburg) and former fellow of the renowned Lukas Artist House in Ahrenshoop completed her studies at the Braunschweig University of Arts. For many years she has dedicated herself to painting and today lives and works in her Berlin-based studio.

At the center of her artistic work is the connection between memory, atmosphere, and landscape. Starting from personal impressions, Andrea Krauß develops vision-scapes that go beyond the individual and touch universal experiences of nature, space, and transience.
