“ARCHEMISIO”
is a contemporary painter famous for his hyper-realist oil-on-canvas works, where he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Born among the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, refining the hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by a Caravaggesque legacy: his works capture minute details (from skin folds to reflections on an object) while being immersed in theatrical and directional light, which chisels the volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
