“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, in which he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Raised among the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the churches and museums of the city, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Archemisio traveled through Europe and the United States, honing his hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by a Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture minute details (from facial wrinkles to reflections on an object) yet are immersed in a theatrical and directional light, which chisels the volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
