Robert Picault, born October 16, 1919 in Paris and died October 30, 2000 in Cannes, was a French ceramist, designer, photographer, and filmmaker.
He is one of the pioneers and a leading figure in the renewal of Vallauris ceramics from 1945.
His photographic and film work, stemming from his cordial collaboration with Pablo Picasso, has been the subject of exhibitions and publications in France and internationally.
