A simple and recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The teddy bear, a symbol of affection and protection, keeps its shape but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or live with lightly.

The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What from afar appears familiar becomes, up close, more distant, almost inaccessible. Thus a direct contrast is created between what we know and what we see.

Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist followed a path that, between studies as a surveyor and architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture artisan. There arose the ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity.
