Description:
This work is part of the series “Silent Figures,” a set of paintings focused on the female figure as an emotional state, rather than as a portrait. The figure appears suspended in an undefined moment, between movement and stillness, inviting the viewer to complete the story.

The composition presents a young woman with an intense, piercing gaze, whose blue eyes establish a direct dialogue with the viewer. The expressive treatment of color, especially in the sleeve and the light areas of the face, introduces a visual tension that contrasts with the sobriety of the dark dress. The background, built through glazes and gestural brushstrokes, creates an ethereal atmosphere that enhances the sense of introspection and mystery.
