My name is Davey. And what I do isn’t simply painting on a screen: I create worlds. I take the digital void and shape it, mold it, play with three-dimensionality to fool the eye and capture the soul. Light and shadow aren’t casual details; they are the rails along which my emotion travels.
I feed my mind with everything around me. I find inspiration in the storytelling of a film, in the pure dynamicism of sport, in the geometric complexity of video games. But there’s a place where all of this comes together, where my art finds its true purpose: interior decorating. Home furnishings.
For me, a home isn’t just a collection of rooms. It’s a refuge. And every single canvas I create is born for that refuge.
There isn’t a single stroke, nuance, or contrast that is there by chance. Every detail has a purpose. I want the viewer of one of my works hanging on the wall not to see just a painting, but a window opening onto a new dimension, a piece of design that converses with the room’s light, that changes its skin according to the hour of the day. It is digital art made tangible, that becomes decor, that breathes with your home.
This journey began in my mind, but it continues on the walls of those who choose to dream with me. If you want to discover how three-dimensionality and light can transform your space, I’m waiting for you in my digital studio, where you’ll find canvases of all kinds, each ready to give life to your home.
Up for auction: an extraordinary contemporary artwork printed on large-format fine art canvas (60x80 cm, frameless). Behind a seemingly classical aesthetic and sublime visual elegance lies an image that hides a fierce and poetic social critique directed at the Anthropocene era and the destructive relationship between humans and nature.
The central subject, the monumental face of an elephant, is not simply a celebration of wildlife, but an allegory of sacrifice. Its skin is deeply marked with sharp cuts, wounds, and scratches: explicit scars of human violence, poaching, exploitation, and the progressive destruction of natural habitats. The elephant, always a universal symbol of memory and wisdom, becomes a modern martyr here.
The drapery that envelops it and the crown of flowers recall the sacred iconography of neoclassical funerary statuary: a provocative reminder that suggests humanity tends to idealize and “venerate” nature only after it has silenced it, turning it into an artificial lifeless simulacrum. In the background, the large circular aureola does not celebrate a triumphant divinity, but emits the dramatic light of a requiem for lost biodiversity.
A visually powerful work of immense emotional impact, capable of shaking consciences and redefining the space in which it is displayed.
