Milk jug - .800 silver

Superb and very rare tripod milk jug with repoussé decoration; the spout is shaped like a ram's head, Louis XVI style, in solid silver, with Hanau hallmark (in the style of 18th-century French marks); Charançon hallmark 800/1000, mid-19th century; the handle is turned wood.

Overall good condition with some signs of use, no dents, small chip at the end of the handle.

Dimensions: approximately 8.5 cm high and 14 cm wide, weight 109 grams.
