Terrestrial table globe - M. Picquart - 1930-1940

Beautiful illuminated glass globe of 25 cm diameter from the 1930s-40s, made by Perrina, Paris.
The globe is in completely original condition.
The sphere is made of glass and is covered with a very aesthetically pleasing map depiction. It stands on a lovely stepped Art Deco metal base.
Perrina was, together with Forest and Thomas, one of the pioneers in the manufacture of glass illuminated globes in France during the first half of the 20th century.
The globe and the base are in good condition, with here and there a few small spots and scratches.
The lighting is working.
