Description from the seller
Bonsai Juniper Tanuki Ancient Wood Trunk 6cm
For sale a magnificent specimen of Juniper set in Tanuki style (Phoenix Graft). The living plant has been expertly matched and integrated with a very old dry wood trunk worked. The composition faithfully recreates the sculptural appearance of high-altitude century-old conifers shaped by the elements (visible in the entire gallery from image_51.png to image_58.png).
REAL DETAILS AND MEASUREMENTS:
• Horizontal-spread canopy: an incredibly wide and compact foliar spread, with a width of 45 cm that develops in a harmonious and sinuous way (image_51.png, image_56.png, image_57.png).
• Ancient worked trunk: base of the dry trunk 6 cm wide, characterized by deep and twisted grain that give great maturity to the plant (image_51.png, image_52.png, image_58.png).
• Jin/Shari details: the dead branches and the whitened wood emerge with character above and among the dense foliage (image_53.png, image_54.png, image_58.png).
• Height: compact and slender profile of only 19 cm (including pot) for perfect visual balance (image_51.png).
• Pot: dark cultivation pot measuring 7 x 17 x 17 cm (image_51.png, image_56.png).
HEALTH STATUS AND WORKMANSHIP:
The juniper is in excellent health, showing needles of vivid and compact green (image_55.png) and is securely fixed to the wooden supporting structure with discreet mechanical anchors at the base (image_51.png, image_56.png). A dynamic piece with great impact, perfect for collectors.
ECO-SAFETY SHIPPING ACROSS EUROPE:
Fast dispatch with express courier. The bonsai will be anchored to the bottom of the package and protected by reinforced rigid packaging to prevent any movement of the structure and preserve the integrity of the splendid and broad 45 cm canopy during transit.
