Beautiful antique tableware set from Villeroy & Boch based in Mettlach.
Off-white earthenware decorated with blue flowers, tulips and roses.
Blue-on-white floral motif is characteristic of the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) period.
Particularly beautiful, elegant, timeless, rare dinnerware. This set is highly sought after by collectors and antique dealers.
The dinnerware is marked - Villeroy & Boch Mettlach made in Saar Basin.
The set consists of:
1 large terrine with lid; Ø 22 cm, height 17 cm (without lid)
1 round serving bowl; Ø 34 cm
1 oval serving bowl; 40 x 26.5 cm
1 oval serving bowl; 23 x 14 cm
1 sauce boat with fixed underplate.
6 flat plates; Ø 25 cm
6 deep plates; Ø 24 cm
6 breakfast plates; Ø 21 cm

The set is in good antique condition. There are here and there some discolorations, which is inevitable with ceramic at this age.
It will be packed very carefully, sent by registered mail and insured.
