STRANGE BLUES -XL is an original and unique handmade artwork, very large in format, created using acrylic paints applied in dense, generous layers on canvas.

Majestically sized, each work is made with top-quality acrylics—bright, rich, finely pigmented and lightfast. The canvases are painted and dried for several hours in natural light, which gives them a unique glow, unlike anything else. Each piece is created in a bath of natural light, colors, emotions, and music, in the heart of the Provençal countryside.

Each painting is painted beyond the displayed dimensions to allow mounting on a frameless canvas. Thus, the visible sides of the frame are an integral part of the painting. But you may also add a frame (see photos, frame not included).

Understanding the dimensions: they are raw. Typically 4 to 7 cm of the canvas on each side is accounted for to properly stretch it on a stretcher. The larger the canvas, the more generous the margin.
For example, for an XXL 165 cm x 165 cm canvas, the stretcher will be 150 cm x 150 cm, i.e. 7.5 cm on each side.
For a 120x120 cm canvas, the maximum stretcher is 110x110 cm.
