Rare Triple-Section Art Nouveau Serving Tray in Solid Sterling Silver 925 – Grogan Company (Model 2196/1) - 281g
Refined and exceptional three-compartment serving dish (menažnica) of clear Art Nouveau (Stile Liberty) provenance, entirely crafted in solid Sterling Silver (925). The piece bears the prestigious signature of Grogan Company of Pittsburgh, renowned jewelry and elite silverware house active in the early 1900s in creating luxury goods for American high society. The object stands out for its high level of craftsmanship: three heart-shaped compartments flow toward an elaborate central twisted handle. The outer edge is adorned with sumptuous pierced work featuring geometric scrolls and floral motifs. On the upper rim rises a shield with a finely handcrafted vintage monogram ("EM"). The base bears the original sharp and clearly readable hallmarks: the manufacturer's signature "GROGAN COMPANY", the legal purity inscription "STERLING", and the model serial number "2196/1".
