Description from the seller
AMA • Pope (1985) - "Aurora GetRich" - 6/20
When wealth becomes a luminous obsession.
Following the success of the Aurora Borealis series, Aurora Contrefaçon Originale, Aurora Authentic Fake... AMA continues its ironic exploration of contemporary myths, between social success, pop culture and the fantasy of absolute wealth.
"Aurora Get Rich" – Get Rich Or Die Trying transforms a brutal mantra of modern culture into a luminous, chrome object, hypnotic, almost ritual.
On the front face, the message is clear:
GET RICH, accompanied by the iconic wink to the double C, the universal symbol of luxury and desire.
On the sides, the statement completes itself, without ambiguity:
OR DIE / TRYING.
A frontal, radical slogan, immediately understandable.
A contemporary injunction frozen in light.
The day: a chrome, cold and desirable icon.
The night: a luminous explosion, hypnotic, almost obsessive.
A brutal contrast between imagined success and contemporary pressure.
Limited edition of 20 copies for 2025, signed, numbered and delivered with AMA certificate of authenticity.
Fast and secure shipping (bubble wrap, tissue paper, reinforced carton) with signature on delivery.
Specifications:
- 7 luminous colors
- 3 diffusion modes (fixed, fading transitions, simple transitions)
- Power via USB cord with switch (included)
- Height: 20 cm

Who is Pope?
Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of visual arts since childhood, a high standard of detail and meticulous visual research.
Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and amazed gaze, attentive to both simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether for a gift, a keepsake or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for street art through street art and pop art (in limited or non-limited editions), addressing a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, the harms of drugs, luxury brands and haute couture, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, agro-food and fashion products (sport, sneakers...).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Conscious of this impact, Pope likes to mischievously redirect labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others.
Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to evaluate the lot being sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
