Description from the seller

Artist's Statement

“With this series I explore the boundary between order and spontaneous growth, transforming organic forms into optical structures that alter the perception of space. Each painting is a variation of a single inquiry, in continuous evolution.”

The 4 Blue Elements is part of a series of hand-painted works that investigate the relationship between optical perception and organic structures.

Through a repetitive yet fluid rendering of the painterly mark, the composition generates four interconnected vortices that guide the observer's gaze across the entire surface, in a continuous visual motion. The absence of a single focal point allows the work to function as a dynamic field rather than a static image.

The investigation develops from the meeting of the principles of Optical Art and the structures present in natural processes, such as growth systems, cellular forms, and fluid dynamics. The result is a visual language that oscillates between control and spontaneity.

Although conceived as part of a broader cycle, each work maintains its own autonomy and identity, while at the same time being part of a coherent inquiry into rhythm, perception, and visual energy.

Thanks to its strong visual impact and contemporary aesthetics, the work lends itself both as a piece of contemporary art for collectors and as an element of dialogue with modern interior design environments.

Acrylic on canvas, an original work entirely handmade and signed on the back by the artist.
