Oil on panel measuring 22 x 27 cm, signed bottom left, B Retaux, and bearing on the back the studio stamp as well as an inventory number. It depicts, as is often the case with the Orientalist painter, a view of Morocco. The artist is a listed artist, a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two laureates of the Ab El-Tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold in a modern frame.
