International contemporary artist Coco de Paris was born in the Netherlands and trained at the prestigious art schools of Antwerp and Brussels. Based in France for over 30 years, he has developed a distinctive body of work, immediately recognizable, at the crossroads of contemporary art, design, and visual culture.
International recognition
Coco de Paris’s work goes far beyond the traditional gallery framework:
• Several of his works appear in the Deep Water film produced by 20th Century Fox, with Ben Affleck
• He has collaborated with Marc Jacobs for an exclusive collection
• Gucci has acquired licensing rights to some of his works
• Géraldine Chaplin counts his creations among her inspirations
• Collaborations with international brands and institutions such as Joe Fresh, World Market, Cardinal Games, Nepia (Japan), FLOW Magazine, and Lindner Hotels (Germany).
• Collaboration with Tim Zagat (founder of the Zagat guide): creation of an illustrated alphabet of 26 animals, and for 2026 the release of two books: a volume dedicated to the mythical Parisian palace Le Bristol Paris and an artistic work titled Silly Words.
His work has been presented in numerous galleries and art fairs in Europe, such as Affordable Art Fairs in Brussels and Amsterdam, selected for the MAC Paris show, Art Metz, and the Bernard Mourrier galleries (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence), Carincotte (Marseille), Another Art (Belgium), Projection Gallery (Brussels), Radar Gallery (Bayeux), Cyane Gallery (Nancy), Marie Ricco Gallery (Calvi), Gour-beneforti Gallery (Bastia). His selection for the Chelsea International Art Competition in New York also confirms the international reach of his work.
Currently, Coco de Paris’s work is permanently represented in France by the Art Sant Roch Gallery in Céret.
His sculptures, made from resin, iron, wood, and ceramic painting, are hand-painted and testify to a constant pursuit of innovation and material.
