Written by Leo Tolstoy (1828–1910), the Russian writer, philosopher, and social reformer, widely regarded as one of the greatest novelists in history for masterworks War and Peace and Anna Karenina.
Illustrated with frontispiece portrait of the Author. Published in Москва, Ленинград, 1950. Publisher’s original blue cloth with decorations and gilt lettering to upper cover and spine.
