About the artist:
Originally from Southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU draws inspiration from Breton landscapes, deeply rooted in light and the horizon.
His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogues with human perception.
Projected shadows, slender lines, uncluttered compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism.
Through a mastered palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres.
The gaze is drawn toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation.
A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language.

In June 2026, he was selected to represent Artmajeur at the Vivatech 2026 fair, Europe’s largest innovation fair, in Paris.
