Renata Giannelli's CUORE, a contemporary sculpture in iron wire and hemp paper pulp with gold leaf, illuminated by 120 LED points, 41 × 58 × 28 cm, 2026, signed by hand, in excellent condition, self-supporting and USB-powered, shipped with rigid packaging and an authenticity certificate.
Description from the seller
Illuminated sculpture realized through an organic interweaving of twisted iron wire, traversed by 120 LED light points that animate its internal structure. On the metallic weave, hemp-fiber paper pulp has been cast, which during the drying and oxidation process generated an irregular and vibrant surface, rich in material stratifications and transparencies.
The light, filtering between solids and voids, builds a mutable pattern of shadows and reflections, transforming the sculpture into a living and atmospheric presence. The irregular inserts of gold leaf further amplify the luminous perception, creating precious glows that emerge from the raw material.
The project arises from the meeting of two apparently antithetical elements: iron — cold, rigid and structural — and paper — soft, warm and fragile. From their fusion a new expressive, organic and metamorphic matter takes shape, in which the hardness of the metal is progressively softened by the presence of the fiber, while the paper gains strength and plastic tension.
The structure is self-supporting. The LED lighting is powered via USB output, allowing versatile placement both in domestic environments and in exhibition spaces. It is shipped in rigid packaging and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
