Xandro Peña’s original digital print titled Fressia - XL, created in 2026 on canvas, hand-signed, unframed, with a 100 x 70 cm image area (110 x 80 cm total canvas), depicting floral forms in greens, blues, whites and other colours, sold directly by the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Xandro Peña, a Cuban-born artist who currently lives and works in Madrid.
His work is in private collections in the United States, Mexico, Germany, France, Spain, and Sweden.
Fressia belongs to a series of works in which I explore contemporary floral composition where organic and overlapping forms build a delicate balance between abstraction and representation. The vibrant palette of oranges, greens and deep blues creates a luminous and dynamic atmosphere, while the transparencies provide depth, visual rhythm and a sense of enveloping movement.
Digital illustration created in Affinity with Wacom.
Art print on canvas.
Sold unframed.
Includes Certificate of Authenticity.
The artwork is shipped rolled, protected with craft paper, in a professional shipping tube.
Unique piece, includes a 5 cm white margin on each side for mounting on a frame.
Image size: 100 x 70 cm
Total canvas size: 110 x 80 cm
Although his artistic practice is mainly oriented toward painting, he maintains a constant relationship with printmaking and digital media, both conceptually and aesthetically. His work explores color, rhythm and structure, engaging in dialogue with contemporary abstraction and new ways of assimilating painting.
He has undertaken several artistic residencies in Spain and Portugal, experiences that have contributed to expanding his formal research and international reach.
Among his main references are Sean Scully, Bernard Frize, Brice Marden, Raoul De Keyser, Patricia Treib and Sarah Crowner.
