With "The Deep Seer" (He who sees into the depths), the artist Federico Alibrio signs a ceramic work of extraordinary expressive intensity and spiritual magnetism. The subject, an owl caught in a stance of proud and silent vigilance, sheds its purely naturalistic mantle to become an archetype: the guardian of the night, the seer capable of piercing the darkness to look beyond appearances.

The piece stands out for exceptional chromatic and tactile dynamism. The ceramic surface, moved by a vibrant and almost archaic texture, embraces a glaze application with hypnotic shades. The animal’s face, characterized by the typical heart-shaped facial disk, is dominated by an opalescent and lunar aqua green tone. Moving toward the back and wings, the palette deepens into a rich cerulean and turquoise blue, evoking the abyssal depths of the oceans or the exact moment twilight yields to the deepest night.

The Sicilian artist Federico Alibrio, born in 1995, is always seeking inspiration to grow through new experiences.

Awarded a Diploma in Sculpture in 2021 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, he works in sculpture and painting. He has participated and continues to participate in exhibitions and symposia of high cultural profile, demonstrating commitment and seriousness in tackling sculptural practice.

Reality itself is the greatest source of inspiration. His passions are: wildlife (sensitive to endangered species) and trees. His goal is to showcase the beauty of nature.
