MiLo Icon Grace - XXL, an original acrylic painting (120 cm x 60 cm) from the Netherlands, hand signed, dated 2026, in excellent condition, sold direct from the artist and unstretched.
Description from the seller
MiLo (1976), Netherlands
Title: Icon Grace
A contemporary figurative composition that explores the intersection of abstraction, geometry and timeless elegance. Defined by bold black contours and textured ivory surfaces, the elongated figure possesses an icon-like stillness while remaining entirely open to personal interpretation.
Drawing subtle inspiration from the calm simplicity of Byzantine iconography and modernist abstraction, the composition reduces the human form to its essential lines and shapes. Rather than portraying a specific individual, Icon Grace evokes presence, balance and quiet strength through its restrained palette, architectural composition and carefully placed accents of red.
Multiple layers of professional acrylic paint create a rich, tactile surface with visible textures and delicate brushwork that reveal the painting’s handmade character. The contrast between deep black and warm ivory gives the work a timeless quality, allowing it to complement both contemporary minimalist interiors and more classic architectural spaces.
Painted entirely by hand using professional acrylics on high-quality cotton canvas.
The painting is sold unstretched and will be carefully rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube or box for safe international transport. After arrival it can easily be stretched by any professional framer.
