πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition Curator, Music Critic…)
versatile plasticist and bearer of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of boldly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, cradled by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection features four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and material, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful softness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
