Haas & Cžjžek - Platter - Porcelain

A beautiful porcelain tray made in the late 19th century by the renowned Haas & Czjzek porcelain factory in Schlaggenwald, Bohemia (today Horní Slavkov, Czech Republic), which is world-famous for producing luxury, museum-quality porcelain. A beautifully rendered, romanticized pastoral scene depicting two classical-style girls tending to three sheep amidst blooming pink garden flowers.
In beautiful antique condition with minor cosmetic signs of wear due to age. The gold gilding along the outer edges and on the raised details of the ears shows slight, expected scuffing and fading, which is the result of careful handling over the past century. No chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. The central pastoral scene remains completely clear and intact.
