Coastal Solitude - Hand signed is a 40×40 cm giclée print on canvas mounted on a wooden frame by the French artist Le Yack, signed front and back, edition limited to 20 with an artist-signed certificate of authenticity, delivered ready to frame or hang.
Description from the seller
This figurative work leads us onto a coastal road bathed in the golden light of a California sunset. Strode against its mount, a masculine silhouette in a leather jacket and a gavroche cap contemplates the immensity of the Pacific, back turned, lost in a suspended reverie. Beside him, an old American motorcycle with a midnight-blue tank captures the last rays of the sun, its chrome gleaming like so many promises of escape. The plate “CAL 1948” anchors the scene in a mythical America, that of the open spaces and freedom on the asphalt.
The winding ribbon of the road, the brown cliffs plunging into the ocean, and the sky set ablaze compose a cinematic backdrop where silence seems palpable. The contrast between the ochre warmth of the path, the deep blue of the sea, and the dark silhouette of the traveler carves out an atmosphere distinctly “Hopper-esque.” An invitation to inner travel, celebrating the contemplative solitude of man facing the infinite horizon.
