Old apothecary pot with a removable lid.
Material: genuine fine porcelain from Limoges.
Central inscription: “Arsenic” written in black Gothic letters.
Decoration: Baroque/Rocaille-style cartouche with scrolls, painted in bright blue and bright yellow, underscored by small clusters of yellow flowers at the base of the medallion.
Finishes: metallic trims and borders on the foot, the neck, and the lid knob.
Estimated period: Mid-20th century (1950s – 1970s).
