Le Yack, First Dance - Hand signed, a 40 x 40 cm giclée on canvas mounted on a wooden frame, limited edition of 20, signed by the artist, produced from 2020 onwards, with a certificate of authenticity, sold direct from the artist in France.
Description from the seller
This figurative work transports us into the intimate, moving atmosphere of a ballroom bathed in golden light. Embraced at the center of a vast Hungarian-point parquet, a young couple sketches their first dance, foreheads touching, lost in the grace of a suspended moment. The bride, radiant in her ivory satin gown with a long lace train, surrenders into the arms of her husband in a black suit, whose elegance underscores the solemnity of their union.
Sunlight streams through the tall, curved bays and floods the polished floor with broad trapezoids of light, while potted palms and Corinthian columns give the venue a soft majesty. The vast, empty hall surrounding the couple heightens their tender isolation, sculpting an atmosphere decidedly “Hopperian.” An invitation to emotion, celebrating the timeless beauty of love and the solemnity of an eternal vow.
