Description from the seller
Marina, sunset, acrylic on MDF 70x50, painted entirely by hand by the Italian artist Sebastiano Plutino. Certificate of authenticity with the artist's signature and stamp.
Sebastiano Plutino (Reggio Calabria, June 20, 1973) is an Italian painter and contemporary artist. After studying at the Artistic High School “Mattia Preti” in Reggio Calabria, he dedicates himself entirely to painting, developing a personal stylistic signature that blends figurative and informal elements. His work is characterized by a particular sensitivity to the sea, nature, and Mediterranean culture: his “seascapes” evoke meditative atmospheres, often dominated by bright skies, wide horizons, and waters in constant movement, in a painting that conveys mood and introspection.
Alongside seascapes, Plutino creates portraits — often of female figures — and informal landscapes, using oils, enamels, and acrylics on panel or MDF, with decisive brushstrokes and dense, meaningful color stratifications. His career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: his works have been displayed in galleries such as Galleria ArteToma (Reggio Calabria), OnArt Gallery (Florence), Galleria Serraino (Reggio Calabria) and at events such as ArtePadova and PaviArt.
