πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions stemming from his painting work currently on display in the gallery. This series reinterprets icons of Pop Art and current Street Art, reworked with the artist's own codes. Discover these editions in advance before you can bid on the real acrylic-painted paintings that will go on sale in mid-July. Do not hesitate to also view the artist's sculpted works (Les Robbit). A series of colorful sculptures, mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, guided by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which his name originates. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection unfolds into four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful softness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
