πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and conveyor of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions drawn from his painting work currently shown in the gallery.
This series reworks icons of contemporary Pop Art and Street Art using the artist's own codes.
Discover these editions first before you can bid on the real acrylic-painted canvases that will go on sale mid-July. Do not hesitate to also check out the artist's sculptural works (Les Robbit). A series of colorful sculptures, mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, infused with the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name derives.
Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends bold pop with playful softness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and its visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
