πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and bearer of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions drawn from his painting work shown in galleries at the moment. This series revisits icons of Pop Art and current Street Art, reworked with the artist's own codes. Discover these editions first before you can bid on the real acrylic-painted canvases that will be put up for sale in mid-July. Do not hesitate to also explore the artist's sculpted works (Les Robbit). A series of colorful sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, infused with Herbie Hancock's electronic motifs — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Executed in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection unfolds in four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop daring with playful softness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
