πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions derived from his painting work currently on display in the gallery. This series revisits icons of Pop Art and current Street Art, reworked with the artist’s own codes. Discover these editions in advance before you can bid on the actual acrylic-painted paintings that will go on sale in mid-July. Do not hesitate to also view the artist's sculptural works (Les Robbit). A series of colorful sculptures, playful homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, guided by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is born. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful softness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to captivate viewers and complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
