πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition Curator, Music Critic…)
A versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions arising from his painting work currently shown in the gallery. This series reinterprets icons of Pop Art and current Street Art, reworked with the artist’s own codes. Be the first to discover these editions before you can bid on the actual acrylic-painted paintings that will go on sale mid-July. Do not hesitate to also view the artist’s sculptural works (Les Robbit). A series of colorful sculptures, playful homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, guided by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is born. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends bold pop with playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
