D - Uli presents Elefant Blue, a Kunstharz mixed-media artwork with ultramarine blue pigments, 23 × 24 × 12 cm, signed, in good condition, made in Germany.
Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage à Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, together with Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been handmade by me with great effort.
Parts of the handwork are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in a complex mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the residual light
Hand-signed
Elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
My artworks are exhibited at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An elementary feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising that are well known.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me and thus given a new life as an "art object"
