LORIN - The flow

Long before modern psychology spoke of the flow state, philosophers of ancient Greece observed a similar phenomenon.

Heraclitus maintained that everything is in constant motion. No one, he said, can step into the same river twice, because the water has already changed and even the person is no longer the same.

Centuries later, this idea would reappear in many Eastern and Western traditions: the belief that life finds its own balance not in resisting change, but in the ability to go with the flow.
In the seventies, psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi gave a modern name to this experience: Flow. A mental state in which time seems to slow down, the noise of the world fades, and every action becomes natural.
It is not about controlling everything.
It is about stopping opposing, because sometimes the hardest path isn't moving forward: it's learning to let yourself be carried along.
