Description from the seller

Iconic and sought-after advertising sculpture depicting the famous Omino coi Baffi Bialetti, one of the most recognizable symbols of Italian advertising of the twentieth century.

Created in 1953 by designer Paul Campani as a caricature of Renato Bialetti, the Omino coi Baffi has over the years become the emblem of the renowned Italian company that produces Moka Express, entering the collective imagination through historic advertising campaigns and Carosello.

The proposed specimen is a large three-dimensional ceramic piece with polychrome glaze, depicting the character as he serves a cup of coffee decorated with the Bialetti logo. The figure sits on a rectangular base with the company's front mark.
