Description from the seller

E for Escher — The Artphabet
Edition 3/10 — 60 x 60 cm

This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by the digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures of art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter E is transformed into a tribute to M.C. Escher, reinterpretating his fascination with impossible structures and architectures that defy logic. The typographic form becomes a habitable space where stairs, passages and openings generate a visual narrative full of paradoxes.

The composition introduces human figures on a small scale that traverse the structure, reinforcing the sense of scale, repetition and spatial confusion characteristic of Escher's universe. The stairs seem to lead to contradictory places, creating a visual illusion that invites the viewer to question the perception of reality.

The work has been created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), sculpted in an artisanal way with special attention to geometry, light and depth, achieving a clean, minimalist and highly conceptual aesthetic.

The Artphabet has had wide international impact, being disseminated in numerous design, art and visual culture media, consolidating itself as one of the most notable projects of artistic typography within the recent digital realm.

Cess is an artist specializing in digital art, CGI and artificial intelligence, with a solid track record in the creative industry, having collaborated with international brands such as Apple, Google, Prada, Vogue and MTV, among others.

The piece is presented in high-quality Giclée printing on poly/cotton canvas, guaranteeing excellent reproduction of detail, texture and volume of the original digital work.
